Summer is heating up, but your kitchen doesn't have to! You can definitely bake sourdough in the summer, but I try to avoid turning on the oven during the hottest part of the day. If I do bake, it’s early morning or later in the evening when it won’t heat up the whole house. But you don’t have to turn on the oven to enjoy sourdough. Have you tried baking a crusty loaf right on the grill? Or making a single-serve sourdough cookie in a mug? Whether it’s the grill, stovetop, or even the microwave, there’s no reason to pause your sourdough game this summer.
